From what I heard about the meeting, that description is pretty accurate, the meeting was a very positive one. The bigger question remains, if there will be any results.

That’s one of the reasons I voted for Ehrlich. It was bad enough with O’Malley, it’s no question that things would get worse with Dixon.

It seems there is a great deal of undeserved good will toward Dixon. As mayor, she should do more than just show up. She’s been around long enough to have an actual plan of action to prevent the violence, rather than simply react to it after the fact. IMO she appears to be a woman of no ideas, ill-equipped to manage the city. We need prevention not reaction from the city.
